While I was reading, I was saying to myself, “I hope she hasn’t met him.” Thankfully, you had not. Just because someone keeps it PC on the phone does not mean their quest to buy your love, appreciation, admiration or something more sinister, will stay the course in real life. Anyone who sees a photo of you and offers to buy you things has some real soul searching to do. If that’s the baseline, I shudder to think what it scales up to. Better to be a bit lonely in the new town than unsafe and I know you are always safe. ❤️
