This was a fantastic piece. I used to really lower my nose at pseudonyms before I understand the plethora of reasons people need them. I do think you do “fake name” the right way, which is a real picture albeit possible obscured and real-sounding name with some meaning. I find it harder to personally connect with writing if there is no indication of who the person is. I guess I think it could be a bot if it’s John Smith with a picture of a butterfly.
