These are great reminders that editors are supposed to be doing what’s best for the publication. On Medium we don’t get paid, we don’t get a share of the MPP earnings, and for larger publications, we are buried in submissions. We do the best we can to provide insight and feedback and sometimes when we do, it’s met with anger. It happens. We are all creatives. Personally, I prefer to leave notes and only adjust very minor, obvious things and give the writer the chance to think about a spot. Those welcome to feedback, usually end up at least looking at another perspective, before moving forward. This was a very nice read, thanks again.
