Stephen, we have all tried them at some point. It's the belly of the beast when you write online. Over time., I have learned to call myself out on my own bullshit. Wanting more readers isn't about doing strategies to get followers, it's just about writing better words. So if we spend more time hacking our profiles than writing, that will never happen. It's especially tough for new writers to the platform who are told to do spam sham and follow for follow, but even when it technically "works", the following isn't readers, it's just numbers.
