None of what you said makes sense to me. You might want to read the older pieces as to why the stories would need to be removed from these types of publications as they all run against Medium's rules and are pyramid schemes, although Medium is not enforcing them. So if it's wrong to fail to support pyramid schemes, then I am wrong.

It's not a punishment to a writer to not allow them into my publication, it's a guideline of my own choosing since I own the publication. If the New York Times said they would not publish a writer who wrote for the National Enquirer that would be their decision and not restrictive to that writer, whether or not they realized the Enquirer wasn't a real magazine or not. Ignorance is not a defense although I do agree with you that many writers don't know where they are really publishing, but that isn't really my problem, it's theirs for not doing the research.

There are no agreements about work if a writer realizes the entire publication violates the rules of the site and is a spam sham machine. Pulling stories is the only option to get in because I don't want the following from these fake publications bringing their bad energy and fake following to mine.

I do appreciate you reading and respect your point of view, but you should read the other articles that point out why these publications are on the list.
